I have absolutely no words for this band. When I first approached Zach Dessel, he was so organized and so receptive to what type of vibe I was going for. I wholeheartedly wanted to avoid any cringe moments during my wedding reception that can often times come along if you hire a DJ, so I knew a live band was our choice. I was so lucky enough to have great conversations with Zach all throughout the planning process that I knew I had full trust in him to execute my vision and OMG….. it completely SURPASSED our expectations. We hired a seven piece band and provided them a set list with a mix of 2000s R&B, modern day pop, 70s/80s music, so we knew everyone was going to have something there for them. As soon as our dinner reception began the vibes they set out were INSANE. The singers were interacting with the crowd, even when they were at their seats, and encouraging everybody to start the party, even before the dance floor opened, and it got people on their feet and wanting to dance. As soon as that dance floor opened, not a single person wanted to leave it. I think we even should've gotten a bigger dance floor because everybody from all ages were rocking out and the band was so interactive with the crowd that it honestly felt like a concert!!!!!! The cocktail hour music was immaculate and they matched the mood perfectly -- even doing cocktail hour renditions of popular hit songs. Every guest walked away from my wedding saying it was the best thing ever and they still talk about it to this day. Literally everybody wants to get married again just to hire this band. They were professional, punctual, friendly, a pleasure to be around, and overall insanely talented — they even emceed and ensured the music transitions were smooth so there wasn't a dull moment at all. I can't believe I found them and I wish I could experience them for the very first time again. I know I said I had no words, but truly, if you book this band, you will have a GOOD EFFING TIME!!!!

I am a wedding coordinator that has worked with many a DJ and band and I can't fully express just how wonderful it was to work with Z Music. From communication with Zach in the months leading up, to the incredibly talented musicians and singers on the day of the wedding, they made my job so easy. I never had to worry about managing the band, which allowed me to focus on my other roles during the wedding day. Z Music was adaptable (fully outdoor venue), professional (sent over the best timeline I have ever seen from a band), and flexible (always having back-up songs to provide buffer when needed). Not only do I recommend Z Music to other couples, but I 100% recommend them to other venues and professionals. 10/10 will be adding them to my preferred vendor list. These guys were perfect. I didn't want the normal wedding band, and I felt like Zach had a real sense of what I was looking for. They are talented musicians with the perfect sense of when to make things a little more unique. They learned new songs for us and worked with us to make it a perfect night — and they can play standard wedding songs perfectly, too.
